DailyBooth: Microblogging Through Photos

Sun, Feb 15th, 2009

What did you look like this time last year? Last month? Yesterday? DailyBooth, which launched this week, lets you track your appearance through a very simple system: take a photo of yourself every day for as long as you like. Take photos for years, and see how you change - it’s low effort, daily lifeblogging though pictures.

Take the DailyBooth Tour. from jon on Vimeo.

The concept was inspired by the recent craze for YouTube videos assembled from self-photography. In fact, developer Jon Wheatley wrote about the entire development process, from this initial concept to completion (including chat logs of the main developments) on the site’s blog.

It’s a great idea, and well executed. Twitter integration means that your Twitter followers get updated every time you post a pic, and your avatar on the site changes daily to match your latest photo.

Our system thought this story was mainly about: Photos, Pennsylvania Family, Judge Amy
