Today, Vodafone announced a semi-exclusive deal that allows the carrier to market the Android-based HTC Magic smartphone to its customers. The carrier has nabbed exclusive rights for the UK, Spain, Germany, and France and non-exclusive rights for Italy. Vodafone's first Android-based mobile phone will be available in the spring.
