Thu, Feb 12th, 2009

Outright.com, a browser-based accounting service for individuals who are self-employed or own their own businesses, just raised $2 million in first-round funding to continue developing its offerings. The Campbell, Calif. company currently offers the software for free, but plans to add on paid premium features in the near future. It claims that the software is simple enough for even casual users who have relied on Microsoft Word and Excel for bookkeeping operations in the past.
