Twitter spam is an ongoing issue, that in recent months, Twitter has become much better at dealing with. But as with the big social networks before it, spammers are getting more aggressive with their tactics, and software solutions are emerging to automate the process of mass-adding friends and blasting out marketing messages.
The most egregious we’ve seen yet is Twittertornado, which launched last week.
