Directgov, the UK government's information website, is now available on your telly via Teletext and Freeview.
The site offers information from various government departments and has been available on Sky and Virgin Media for some time.
Services will be available on Freeview channel 106 or by going to Teletext page 750 behind any Channel 4 or ITV channel. Older analogue tellies will have a selection of Directgov pages on Teletext page 750.
Popular pages today are likely to include travel advice, severe weather warnings and advice on keeping your house warm. You can also search for jobs, apply for training courses or apply for a passport.
